In 1870, Milton Distillery was founded using local molasses transported from Brisbane's cane fields and Australia's first rectifying pot stills. Nearly 150 years later, Milton Rum Distillery has re-awakened. The haunting cry of a local storm bird which indicated that the summer rain was on its way, bringing prolific growth of the finest local blue cane sugar became the inspiration for this brand.
